Research support

IRAD provides support to researchers and groups linked to Radiation Oncology through the Research Support Office, facilitating the development of proposals, guidance in calls and collaboration between professionals, centres and institutions.

Research Support Office

IRAD’s Research Support Office acts as a reference point to support members and researchers in the preparation, development and monitoring of scientific initiatives in Radiation Oncology.
Its role is to help research ideas move forward into structured proposals, with defined objectives, appropriate documentation and alignment with calls, networks or lines of work linked to IRAD.

Project proposals

IRAD supports researchers in the initial definition of proposals, helping to organise the idea, define its scope and identify the elements needed to turn it into a viable project.
  • Defining the idea
Support in the initial formulation of the project, its objectives, rationale and possible alignment with IRAD’s research lines.
  • Proposal structure
Guidance in organising the project report, timeline, documentation and materials needed to present the initiative clearly and consistently.
  • Review and improvement
Guidance to strengthen the scientific coherence, feasibility and overall presentation of the project before submission or assessment.

Support in calls

The Research Support Office facilitates the monitoring of competitive calls and helps researchers identify funding opportunities aligned with their projects.
  • Identifying opportunities
Locating calls, grants and funding schemes that may fit the needs of the project or research group.
  • Document preparation
Support in reviewing requirements, terms and conditions, deadlines and materials needed to apply for national or international calls.
  • Process follow-up
Support during the preparation, submission and administrative or technical follow-up phases of the application.

Collaboration

IRAD promotes collaboration between researchers, centres, scientific groups and institutions to drive shared projects and generate new development opportunities in Radiation Oncology.
  • Connecting professionals
Facilitating contact between researchers with common interests or complementary lines of work.
  • Multicentre projects
Support for initiatives that require the participation of different centres, team coordination or the structuring of collaboration networks.
  • Relationships with organisations
Promotion of links with institutions, scientific societies, foundations and stakeholders in the biomedical ecosystem that may contribute to the development of research projects.

A support point to move projects forward

The Research Support Office helps organise needs, support proposals and connect opportunities so that projects can progress with greater clarity, coordination and long-term potential.
